The Napa Valley Wine country is such a beautiful and serene place to visit. I love taking a stroll downtown and walking alongside the waterfront or stopping by my favorite down town tasting room, The Bounty Hunter. The Bounty Hunter provides a large variety of wines and delicious BBQ cuisine.

I highly encourage our guests to spend a day in Yountville. Located just 10 minutes north of our hotel, Yountville’s main road is a mile long stretch filled with tasting rooms, Michelin Star restaurants and plenty of local art to enjoy. Cornerstone Cellars and JCB Tasting Room are just two highlights and if you stop at Pacific Blues for lunch you will not be disappointed. If you’re looking for more of an adventure during your time in Napa I recommend signing up with Napa Valley Bike Tours. It’s a great way to see the Valley, get a bit of exercise and taste some fabulous wines at the same time!

My favorite winery is Artesa in the Carneros area. They have a fascinating Chardonnay and picnic area to enjoy a great wine tasting evening. Ristorante Allegria is a great way to enjoy a casual fine dining. Great pastas and the herb roasted chicken are amazing. Finish your dinner experience with their tiramisu and a cup of delicious coffee.
Favorite Wineries: Sterling Vineyards, Castello di Amorosa, Peju
One of my favorite things to do in Napa is to hike at Robert Louis Stevenson State Park. While the trail might be a bit strenuous, nothing beats the amazing view you get when you reach the top of the trail. Even on a hot summer day the hike is refreshing and revitalizing and when you’re finished with the hike, you can check out downtown Calistoga and get an amazing lunch at Palisades Deli.
Favorite Wineries: V. Sattui, Jameson Ranch
My favorite restaurant in Napa Valley is Eiko’s in Downtown Napa. They have a sushi bar where you can watch the chef at work or you can sit in a window booth and watch as the people stroll by. The food is beautiful and no matter how many times everything still tastes so good! I prefer Rosé wine to the traditional Napa Cab and Peju Vineyard’s “Pink” is an alternative that isn’t too pricey. A portion of each sale is donated to our local Queen of the Valley Hospital to help the fight against breast cancer. Peju also has beautiful grounds with many flowers and art statues and its own fish pond to sit next to and relax for hours.
I enjoy having a wonderful lunch at Bistro Don Giovanni, one of my personal favorites for Italian in Napa. Their outdoor patio seating provides an exceptional view of the Napa Valley vineyards while enjoying a delicious meal.
Favorite Wineries: Del Dotto, Beringer
Favorite Restaurants: Eiko’s, Ristorante Allegria
When in Napa be sure to visit Auberge du Soleil, the perfect spot for a romantic Sunday brunch with stunning views, divine cuisine and outstanding service. Their classic wines and marvelous hospitality are the perfect stop during your visit.
Favorite Wineries: Quintessa, Alpha Omega, Clos du Val
