Please plan to visit us during your next trip to the Napa Valley. Here at Schramsberg, we offer tastings by appointment only in conjunction with an educational tour through our historical caves. We consider each tour a “special event” – for you and for us! Reservations in advance are necessary. During your “event,” our tour guide will share the rich history of Schramsberg and its 120 year old caves and introduce you to the classic method of producing sparkling wine, followed by a formal tasting of four Schramsberg wines.

Italian winemaker Vittorio Sattui arrived in San Francisco in 1882 with his new bride, Kattarina, to begin their life in America. Born in Genoa, Vittorio, like his father before him, was by trade a baker from the small hilltown of Carsi. In San Francisco, Vittorio at first worked as a baker, making wine in his spare time, while Kattarina took in washing. Soon the industrious Sattui family had saved enough money to start a boarding house in the Italian colony of North Beach.

Conveniently located on Highway 29, we welcome visitors daily from 10am to 4:30pm. Prior appointment for tasting is not required for groups fewer than 8. the Adamson Winery and renovated in 1994 as Frog’s Leap’s permanent home. Cloaked in quiet, off the beaten track and south of Yountville, stands Bell Wine Cellars. The serene stone winery is surrounded by Hopper Slough and by rows of vineyard in all other directions. We ask that you please call first for an appointment, once you arrive you will understand why. he Hess Collection winery is part of a historic site where wine was first produced in the 1860’s, in a native stone build hewn by masons in 1903. The original stone structure is now joined by The Hess Art Collection, a world-class showcase of contemporary art that captures “two passions under one roof. The winery uses sustainable, environmentally-sound practices with the axiom, “Nurture the land, and return what you take.” That philosophy brings with it a dedication to delivering wines that speak to their natural origins. Hagafen Cellars is located in the Napa Valley, in the heart of California’s premier wine grape region. Less than a mile south of the famed Stags leap District and twenty yards from the Oak Knoll District–Napa’s newest and most exciting of American Viticultural Areas. Since 1980 our wines have been served on numerous occasions at the White House to visiting foreign dignitaries. The cornerstone of our lives are the Silverado Trail winery and tasting room and our two estate vineyards in the eastern benchland of the Napa Valley.

Ceja Vineyards is an ultra premium Latino family owned winery in the Napa Valley. It was founded by Amelia, Pedro, Armando and Martha Ceja – Mexican-American immigrants. Bouchaine Winery ![]()
Bouchaine Vineyards is the oldest continually operated winery in the Carneros region of Napa Valley. Established in 1928 by Italian immigrant Johnny Garetto, and purchased by Gerret and Tatiana Copeland of Wilmington Delaware in 1981 the winery has sustained a long legacy of family ownership. Gerret and Tatiana followed their dream of specializing in their favorite Burgundian varietals, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and have specialized in these varietals for the past 25 years. All vineyard and winery operations are consistent with the sustainable theme. The winery’s beautiful façade is made from recycled redwood from the winery’s original wine tanks.
Delectus Winery ![]()
Delectus is a small family-owned winery that handcrafts luxury red wines from select vineyards throughout
Napa Valley and Knights Valley. The winery produces 4500 cases annually of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah and Syrah. Delectus wines have received high scores and praise from wine critics and consumers alike. The consistency and quality of the wines is attributed to Gerhard and his legacy as an eighth generation winemaker. A visit to the tasting room in Napa includes barrel tastings in a welcoming and educational environment. The tasting room and winery is one of the most “unique and intimate” wine tasting experiences in Napa Valley.
